Crunch Time

Now I am starting to panic. It's only two and a half days before we take off and I still have a zillion things I think I need to do. (I forgot I have to clean out the refrigerator) I can only imagine what kinds of things would be growing in there after six months. At least we got the grill and patio furniture and the water hoses stored.
I appreciate all the friends who have been calling to wish us well. I can't help but wonder what the IT department will look like by the time I get back, considering all the changes just in the last few weeks. I hope all my close friends (you know who you are) are still around when I return. :-)

Well, I'm going to take a deep breath and dive in again to get everything ready to go.
Until next time - God bless and keep you all

Tying Up All The Loose Ends

Well,

I thought by this time I would be ready to just finish packing. Wow-was I wrong! We had to go to Sallisaw on Sunday to check on Jim's brother, then back to Tulsa to check on my brother. I was sure glad to see Ed looking so much better. They still have him sedated and he is still in quite a bit of pain from the skin grafts and the removal of his little finger, but is well on the way to recovery.

Now we have to rethink all our packing ideas, since we can't take any of the liquids and gels in our carry-ons. At least the airlines says that I can still take my laptop on with me as a carry-on.
We have to be at the airport by 4:00 am on Friday morning. Since it takes an hour and a half to get there from my parents' house, we will need to leave from there by 2:30 am. It is an hour's drive to my parents' home, so I don't think we will get much sleep Thursday night. We will probably just go on over there Thursday afternoon and try to get a little shut-eye before having to head out.

For all of you that I am leaving behind, I will miss you very much, but am looking forward to this exciting time. I will be without email access probably until I get to Changzhou. I will post again as soon as possible.

Xia, Xia to all of you for all your help and I look forward to talking with you later. :-)
