Shanghai Sites

I just thought you might like to see some of the sites of Shanghai. If I have already posted some of the pics, forgive me, I forget since I have tried to post so many. :) These are some of the buildings in the Pudong area. The bridge is the one that we crossed going to the airport.
A couple of fellow teachers and I spent the weekend recently at a literary council at the M on The Bund. Then Carol and I spent a couple of days there before she flew out for the States. I had always called these tulip trees, but was told that they are a kind of magnolia. They were beautiful.

The night pictures are taken on the Bund. I can not imagine a TV screen as big as the one on this boat... and the Three Gorges movie looked awesome! Barbara and Laura are walking along the Xintiandi area. Carol will remember where we did our last minute shopping. :)
The walk way is where people go out to walk on the Bund. It is pretty during the day, but really a sight to see in the evening! We even took the tunnel ride under the river and these were some of the lighting effects that we saw.
