I am too old to be doing this, but I am setting out on a new adventure to Changzhou International School! WOW - what an opportunity! I expect to have many experiences and new friends to remember by the time I return.

I am married to a great guy, Jim and have three wonderful children. I have 7 delightful grandchildren. I taught fifth grade for 10 years. I taught Microsoft Office computer classes for the IT department at OSU for ten years and retired in 2010. I spent a year in China teaching high school (2006 - 2007). I thought I would be teaching oral English at the Changzhou International School. When I arrived I found that I would be teaching Science to Korean and Thai students - in English. I taught in the New Zealand section which was a joint venture between the International School and Marlborough Boys College in New Zealand. After teaching one term and having a break at home I went back to the school and taught Asian Geography, Computers and TESOL English to the students from Korea and Thailand. All our subjects were taught in English. I am now beginning another new adventure for the next 5 months. My husband and I will be in Nairobi, Kenya. I will be helping a friend write TESOL curriculum and Jim will be helping other missionary friends.
